Planet Wind

Planet Wind is a feature documentary hosted by Australian renewable energy pioneer Andy Evans, following the global story of offshore wind—its origins, controversies, engineering breakthroughs, and the communities reshaped by this immense planetary force. Directed by Dominic Allen, the film is shot across 13 countries and features insights from 20+ offshore wind experts, travelling through key markets including Australia, the USA, England, Scotland, Denmark, Norway, Taiwan, Japan, and Jersey (among others). On the festival circuit, Planet Wind screened at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival, where it won Audience Choice – Feature.  It has also played internationally, including a US premiere at Greenpoint Film Festival and a UK festival premiere at Montrose LandxSea Film Festival.
